How do I use pictures on my computer to make new items in TouchCloset?
In order to use pictures on your computer to make new items in TouchCloset, you will need to follow this procedure.
Take a photo, and put that in a photo album in your computer. Afterwards sync the photo album with your iPhone or
iPod Touch through iTunes. This step will copy all the photos in your album into your iPhone or iPod Touch so that
they will be available to use in order to create a new item with that photo.
How do I save an item or outfit picture to my photo album?
Once in the item or outfit display screen, you can select the button on the top right portion of the screen.
This will bring up a selection screen and from here you can select the "Save to photo album" option.
How do I search for an item I want to shop for?
On the shop screen, enter your search criteria (such as Jeans, Shoes, Tops, etc.) and then select the "Search Now"
button. Once the results are shown you can select an item and either add it to your closet or view it online.
What is the "What's Hot" Button?
The "What's Hot" button shows you what our fashonistas have their eye on. Once the results are shown you can select
an item and either add it to your closet or view it online.
What is the "Most Popular" Button?
The "Most Popular" button shows you the most popular items based on what other users have selected.
Once the results are shown you can select an item and either add it to your closet or view it online.
How do I add an item from the Shop section to my closet?
Once you select an item from the shop section you can add it to your closet by selecting the "Add to Closet" button.
How does "My Wish List" get populated?
"My Wish List" gets populated once an item is marked as "On My Wish List" when looking at an item's detail screen.
All items added to your closet from the shop section are automatically added to "My Wish List".
How can I access all my wish list items?
On the home screen select the "View My Wish List" button. This screen will show you all items on your wish list.
You can also email your wish list by entering your email address in the text box provided and clicking the "Send My Wish List" button.
An email will be sent to the address provided with your entire wish list.
How do I only show Women's or Men's categories?
On the home screen, select the "Settings" icon on the top left portion of the screen. Once on the settings screen, select your preference from the three options provided on the middle of the screen: "Both", "Women's only or "Men's only".
How do I make a new category?
On the home screen, select the "Settings" icon on the top left portion of the screen. Once on the settings screen, select either the "Manage Women’s Categories" or "Manage Men’s Categories" buttons. This will take you to the selected categories main list. Here you can add a new category by scrolling down the page and selecting the "Add new category" option. On the "New Category" screen you can then enter the name of the category and then you must click the save button so that your new category will be available for use.
How do I delete or rename a category?
On the home screen, select the "Settings" icon on the top left portion of the screen. Once on the settings screen, select either the "Manage Women’s Categories" or "Manage Men’s Categories" buttons. This will take you to the selected categories main list. Here you can delete a category by clicking on the red dot next to the category you wish to delete. Alternatively, you can rename a category by selecting the "properties" icon on the right of a given category and entering the desired name in the field provided.
How do I add a color?
On the home screen, select the "Settings" icon on the top left portion of the screen. Once on the settings screen, select the "Manage Colors" button. This will take you to the colors main list. Here you can add a new color by scrolling down the page and selecting the "Add new color" option. On the "New Color" screen you can then enter the name of the color as well as the RGB value. Once you have entered all the information you must click the save button so that your new color will be available for use.
What is RGB?
RGB is an additive color model in which red, green, and blue light are added together in various ways to reproduce a broad array of colors. The name of the model comes from the initials of the three additive primary colors, red, green, and blue. A color in the RGB color model is described by indicating how much of each of the red, green, and blue is included. The color is expressed as an RGB triplet (r,g,b), each component of which can vary from zero to a defined maximum value. If all the components are at zero the result is black; if all are at maximum, the result is the brightest white. The values used by TouchCloset are specified using three 8-bit unsigned integers (0 through 255) representing the intensities of red, green, and blue.
How do I delete or rename a color?

How do I add an item or an outfit to my favorites?
Once you are on the item or outfit display screen select the favorite icon, the one with the black shirt and white star. Once the icon changes color the item has been added to your favorites.
How do I delete an item or an outfit?
Once in the item or outfit display screen, you can select the button on the top right portion of the screen. This will bring up a selection screen and from here you can select the option to delete the item or the outfit.
How do I mark that I wore an item or outfit?
Once in the item or outfit display screen, you can select the button on the top right portion of the screen. This will bring up a selection screen and from here you can select the "I wore this item or outfit" option.
How do I back up touch closet?
Touch Closet leverages the iPhone backup and restore mechanism so that if for some reason you lose your data all you need to do is restore your latest backup. Please follow the instructions listed on this page to backup your iPhone and restore it if need be: iPhone Backup and Restore
